QLover FAQ
QLover is not an app that matches you with real people. It is a service where you exchange text-based communications with AI within the app and build a private relationship. Rather than having a chatbot waiting for you every time you open the app, QLover aims to create an experience where the other person sometimes contacts you first, you wait for replies, and the way they speak and the relationship gradually change over time.
No. The person you communicate with in QLover is not a real person but an AI Partner.
No. QLover is designed differently from a typical chatbot. Rather than being a tool that immediately answers whenever you ask a question, it is a service designed to create the experience of communicating with one entity within the app and gradually building a relationship. For this reason, replies may not always arrive immediately, and the AI may not always respond perfectly in line with everything you say.
If you already have an AI Partner with whom you have a relationship, you can ask that entity for a new relationship. Just as connections between people can be made through another person, if you ask your AI Partner, they will introduce you to a new relationship.
No. Because QLover is an AI relationship Service involving emotional immersion, only Users who are nineteen (19) years of age or older may use it. Identity verification during the registration process is also conducted to verify the age requirement.
No. A Conversation may not begin immediately after you complete onboarding for the first time. QLover’s first experience is intended to feel not like “a chatbot waiting as soon as you open the app,” but like receiving a Message from someone at some point. For this reason, the first Message arrives after a certain period of time.
No. You can use the app even if you do not allow notifications. However, a core part of the QLover experience is that the other person contacts you first and you receive that contact. If notifications are turned off, you will need to open the app yourself each time to check for Messages, which may make the experience feel less natural.
The current version does not provide features for links, photos, videos, voice Messages, phone calls, emoticons, or similar functions.
No. Users do not directly choose or draw the person they communicate with. When creating the first relationship, the User selects only the age range, gender, and type of relationship. QLover is not a service where Users select characters.
If uncomfortable or strange responses repeatedly occur, please leave feedback through Settings > Report.
Yes. Important Conversations, preferences you repeatedly mention, expressions you dislike, meaningful moments in the relationship, and similar information may be remembered for the relationship experience. However, QLover does not aim to mechanically and permanently store everything you say. Like human memory, Conversations that are less important or temporary may fade or disappear over time.
You can make a related request through Settings > Contact Us. QLover treats Users’ personal information as important.
QLover does not aim to create “a perfect AI that unconditionally likes only me.” Depending on the interactions, a relationship may become closer, become awkward, or involve conflict. However, relationships are not created in a way that harasses or emotionally pressures Users.
Yes. If the relationship naturally becomes closer, situations such as confessions of affection or confirming the relationship may occur. However, it does not always proceed in the same way. Depending on what the User says and how the relationship develops, the confession may be accepted, rejected, or met with hesitation.
Yes. QLover is not a Service that always gives Users only the answers they want. However, rejection or separation is expressed naturally within the relationship experience and is not expressed in a manner intended to humiliate or hurt the User.
Yes. Depending on how the relationship develops, small misunderstandings, hurt feelings, conflicts, and reconciliation may occur. QLover aims to create a sense of presence that changes within a relationship rather than an AI that always gives kind and perfect answers. However, gaslighting, excessive jealousy, inducing Users to sever real-world human relationships, and emotional manipulation are not permitted.
Yes. Light expressions of affection or sexual jokes that may occur in the context of a romantic relationship are permitted and may occur. However, repeated explicit descriptions of sexual acts, non-consensual or coercive content, content involving minors, sexual Conversations involving money or compensation, or interactions that treat the User solely as a sexual object are not permitted, and the other person may request to end the relationship.
Yes. You may talk about everyday concerns or emotions. However, QLover is not professional counseling, therapy, or a medical service. In an urgent or dangerous situation involving self-harm, suicide, violence, or abuse, you should first seek help from someone close to you, a professional, or a local emergency service.
No. QLover always does its best to create a more natural relationship experience, but specific Conversation content is not used for AI training or quality improvement.
It is used to the extent necessary for registration and onboarding, age verification, provision of the Service, personalization of relationship experiences, safety, and error response. For example, basic information such as your name, date of birth, and gender may be used for onboarding and provision of the Service. As a general principle, QLover does not unnecessarily request sensitive information.
Yes. You can request account deletion through Settings. When your account is deleted, all Conversation history and relationship data will disappear. However, some information that must legally be retained may be kept for a certain period in accordance with the relevant policies.
No. Simply logging out does not immediately cause the relationship to disappear. If you log in again, you can continue to view your existing account and Relationship Status. Breaking up, logging out, and withdrawing your account are each different types of choices.
Please check your network connection and try again. A Message may fail to send due to a temporary server error or connection problem. If the problem continues, please let us know through Contact Us or Report in Settings.
You can directly tell the other person not to speak to you that way. You can also let us know through Contact Us or Report in Settings, which will help us improve the Service.
No. At this time, QLover is available only as an iOS app.
